Overview

Work Package 2.2 is centered on developing and delivering a comprehensive Training Programme aimed at enhancing the digital competences of educators. This initiative builds upon the findings from Work Package 2.1, which conducted a thorough needs analysis across partner countries, including Bulgaria, Spain, North Macedonia, and Portugal.

The Training Programme consists of six distinct modules, designed to address specific areas of digital competence, such as communication, digital content creation, collaboration, leadership skills, and digital resource management. Each module is structured to offer practical knowledge, strategies, and tools to educators, enabling them to integrate digital technologies into their teaching practices effectively.

 

Modules:

  1. Module 1: Teachers’ Digital Competence
    • Focuses on communication skills and managing digital resources.
    • Enhances teachers’ ability to use virtual learning platforms and protect data security.
  2. Module 2: Impact of Digital Skills
    • Explores the significance of digital skills in education, focusing on globalization and digitalization.
    • Educators are equipped to foster digital readiness among students.
  3. Module 3: Work Experience
    • Integrates real-world work experience into educational strategies, improving classroom relevance.
    • Practical applications of work experience in pedagogy.
  4. Module 4: Building Leadership Capacity
    • Empowers educators to lead digital initiatives in schools.
    • Focuses on leadership skills and fostering a collaborative environment.
  5. Module 5: Integration of Digital Resources
    • Encourages the use of digital tools, such as virtual classrooms and digital whiteboards.
    • Focus on ensuring accessibility and inclusion in digital learning environments.
  6. Module 6: Continuous Support for Teacher Skills
    • Aims to provide ongoing professional development and peer learning opportunities.
    • Ensures that educators stay updated with the latest digital teaching methodologies.

 

Methodology

The training programme utilizes a combination of workshops, group discussions, practical exercises, and self-assessment tools. The materials include presentations, video tutorials, interactive simulations, and case studies, offering educators diverse and engaging learning experiences.

The structure of the modules ensures that educators can develop digital competences step-by-step, beginning with foundational skills and progressing toward more advanced capabilities, such as digital content creation and the safe use of digital resources in the classroom.
