The first transnational project meeting (TPM 1) and the kick-off meeting of the project „DigiBridge – Digital tools for inclusive teaching“ with Contract No. 2025-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000363350-KA220-SCH-74/29.09.2025, under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 School Education/Cooperation Partnerships was held on 10 March in Sofia, Bulgaria. The kick-off meeting of the project brought together the project management team and education professionals from Bulgaria, Italy, Türkiye and North Macedonia. The DigiBridge project aims to bridge the digital skills gap by providing teachers with innovative methodologies and tools that promote accessibility, inclusion and equality in schools.
Through training and dissemination of information, it supports teacher capacity building, policy harmonisation and cooperation in the EU. The project is implemented in partnership with the European Citizens’ Action – ECA (North Macedonia), CRHACK LAB Foligno 4D ODV (Italy) and the ISTANBUL MILLI EGITIM MUDURLUGU– ILMEM (Türkiye). The Center for Educational Integration of Children and Students from Ethnic Minorities (CEICSEM) is the project coordinator and is responsible for its overall management, implementation and reporting.
The following activities are foreseen to be implemented under the project:
Work Package No. 2 – WP2 – Documenting changes in the field of inclusion through the acquisition of digital competences – this activity will provide evidence-based data for the implementation of digital inclusion strategies in education.
Work Package No. 3 – WP3 – Developing and testing digital inclusion tools – this work package will develop and test digital inclusion tools to make digital education more accessible, engaging and inclusive for diverse learners.
Work Package No. 4 – WP4 – Dissemination and promotion through networking and resource sharing. During the meetings, the tasks and responsibilities for the intellectual outputs were distributed.
Representatives from the project coordinator, the Center for Educational Integration of Children and Students from Ethnic Minorities (Bulgaria), together with 2 representatives from CRHACK LAB Foligno 4D ODV (Italy), 2 representatives from the ISTANBUL MILLI EGITIM MUDURLUGU– ILMEM (Türkiye), and 2 from European Citizenship – Action Bitola (North Macedonia) discussed the timeline for the implementation of the activities, the methodology and scope of the research and the distribution of duties.
The project implementation period is 22 months and covers the period 31.12.2025 – 30.10.2027, with a total grant amount of 120,000 euros.
