Overview
Project Result 4 (WP2.4) focuses on the development and deployment of Open Educational Resources (OERs), a key outcome of the InSchool Project aimed at enhancing educators’ digital competences. These resources, designed collaboratively by partners from Bulgaria, Spain, North Macedonia, and Portugal, address specific gaps identified in the Training Needs Assessment (WP2.1 and WP2.2) and provide scalable solutions for modern teaching challenges.
The OER Toolkit offers customizable, accessible, and innovative tools that empower educators to create inclusive, engaging, and digitally driven learning environments.
Modules Overview
Module 1: Teachers’ Digital Competence
– Focuses on enhancing communication skills, managing digital resources, and ensuring data security.
– Provides practical tools for managing virtual classrooms and collaborative platforms.
Module 2: Addressing Globalization and Digitalization
– Discusses strategies to incorporate digital tools into lessons.
– Promotes the development of personalized student training plans.
Module 3: Work-Integrated Learning
– Explores lesson plans that connect academic learning with real-world applications.
– Includes activities to foster critical thinking and problem-solving.
Module 4: Building Leadership Capacity
– Empowers teachers to lead digital transformation initiatives in schools.
– Focuses on creating inclusive, technology-driven environments.
Module 5: Integrating Digital Tools
– Provides tutorials for using tools like Google Workspace, Moodle, and Canva.
– Reduces the digital divide by promoting accessibility to all learners.
Module 6: Continuous Professional Development
– Encourages peer-to-peer learning and ongoing skill enhancement.
– Includes assessment tools to track educators’ progress in digital competences.
Methodology
The OER Toolkit employs an interactive and inclusive methodology to support professional development. Its resources are designed to:
– Foster hands-on experience through gamified learning, video tutorials, and multimedia presentations.
– Provide flexibility through open-license formats for easy adaptation across diverse educational contexts.
– Ensure inclusivity, catering to diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and those at risk of early school leaving.
Expected Outcomes
– Enhanced Digital Competences: Teachers will build stronger skills in digital communication, content management, and resource utilization.

Purpose
The Open Educational Resources Toolkit was developed to address gaps identified in the Training Needs Assessment (WP2.1 and WP2.2). It equips educators with essential tools to integrate digital technologies effectively, enhancing student engagement and encouraging innovative teaching practices. By providing long-term, scalable solutions, the toolkit ensures sustainable growth in educators’ digital competences.
